Volunteers are the heart of our organization.  TRI operates with a strong commitment to volunteers because they show our women that their lives matter.   We believe that everyone has skills, experience, wisdom and networks that will empower our residents while positively impacting our local communities. That is why we want to partner with you!  The benefits of volunteering with TRI include:

Free training:  Volunteers train in cognitive behavioral intervention, understanding criminal thinking and strengths-based approaches to helping our participants create new lives.  Mentors also receive specialized training, monthly coaching and support from TRI professional staff.
Community building: Volunteers join with like-minded community members, helping to create a team of open and affirming friendships that support returning citizens and warm the hearts of our volunteers.
Please begin by completing these steps:
  1. Complete the Volunteer Application.  Please allow 1-4 weeks for staff to contact you to schedule a volunteer interview.
  2. Join us for Volunteer Orientation.  The upcoming orientation and trainings are listed below.
